Meet The Founder
Hi! I'm Tiziana, founder and head formulator at Botaneca. With over 23 years of experience as a registered nurse, my purpose has always been caring for others. My exploration of natural skincare began as a hobby, handcrafting cold-processed soaps. This eventually blossomed into a passion for formulating safe, effective skincare solutions.
Born in Italy, I was raised in Toronto, Canada. I now call Bradford, Ontario home—and the heart of Botaneca. My family instilled in me a deep respect for handcrafted goods and natural ingredients. I bring this appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and simple pleasures to my work formulating premium skincare.
I am continuously expanding my knowledge through an advanced diploma in personal care formulation. As a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the International Federation of the Societies of Cosmetic Chemists and Handcrafted Bath & Body Guild, I stay attuned to the latest innovations while upholding the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
