Bay Rum Shaving Soap

Experience a luxurious and smooth shave with our Bay Rum Shaving Soap. Infused with nourishing shea and kokum butter, and calming jojoba oil, this soap creates a rich lather. Top notes of ozone and citrus blend with mid notes of delicate florals and woody scents, ending with a warm base of patchouli and vanilla.

Ingredients: Aqua, Stearic Acid, Butyrospernum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Potassium Hydroxide, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Glycerin, Garcinia Indica (Kokum) Seed Butter, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Hydroxide, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sodium Lactate, Sucrose, Sodium Citrate

How to Use: 

1. Prepare your skin/beard beforehand by washing your face with a facial soap then applying a hot towel afterward.

2. Soften the bristles of your shaving brush by soaking or wetting the bristles in hot water. For natural bristles, soak the bristles for approximately 10 minutes. For synthetic bristles, simply run the brush under hot water to wet the bristles. After soaking/wetting your shaving brush, flick your brush to remove some water. Don't completely remove all water - you want some water to remain in the brush.

3. Bloom your shaving soap by pouring warm water over the soap and allowing it to soak for 10 minutes. After blooming your shaving soap, remove excess water that rests on top of the soap. Blooming your shaving soap is optional.

4. Load your shaving brush. Swirl your shaving brush in circular motions on the shaving soap until a thick lather coats the brush. Transfer the lather into a shaving bowl or apply it directly to your face. If transferring to a shaving bowl, continue to swirl your shaving brush in the bowl to work up the lather. If the lather is too thick, add a little water to the bowl. If the lather is too thin or bubbly, add more soap to the bowl to thicken it. 

5. Once the lather is at the right consistency, start applying it to the face using your shaving brush. Apply the lather in circular and up and down motions to your face and neck to ensure even coverage. 

6. After shaving, clean your shaving brush and leave your shaving soap to air dry.
